Hey everyone! The Animal of the Month for July is the Red Panda. You can adopt it here! Here are some information about it!

Red Pandas live in the mountains of Nepal, Burma and central China. They were first classified 48 years BEFORE the more famous, black and white giant Panda. Of course what they lack in panda size they more than make up for in ring tailed red panda cuteness. Red pandas have their own scientific category —the Ailuridae. Unique is chic!

I've just found out a new(?) shop called LUXE and it's located under Starbeauty... I'm not 100% sure if it's new or not, but I've never seen it before! :p Tell me in comments if you have ever seen it before... Anyway... As a beauty/make-up shop, LUXE is Superstar-only. Everything seems to be too expensive.. You can find lipsticks, a lipgloss and some eye-shadows. What's surprising is that when you put LUXE's cosmetics on you, they sparkle!! World Cup 2010 - South Africa!!

As most of you might know, yesterday the FIFA World Cup, also known as Mundial, began! This year South Africa is the hosting country!

Stardoll has released some clothes and accessories inspired from the World Cup... If you come from the States or the UK then you can be very very happy since you can buy your country's clothes from the Starplaza! For the rest of us there are shoes, bags and even a World Cup 2010 football! Everything is non-superstar and costs 3-5 stardollars. I think they're worth buying them as a souvenir (!) since the World Cup is organised every 4 years!

Hey everyone!! It's me again! My exams are now over so I'll have plenty of time to be on the computer and blog! I've been watching what was going on to Stardoll but of course I won't write everything down! I'll only tell you the most basic ones:

SUPERSTAR SUMMER OFFER

Stardoll has a summer offer for Superstars (€10 for the whole Summer). I'm seriously thinking of buying Superstar for the 1st time after 5 years on Stardoll! What do you think?? It just sounds too cheap, doesn't it?!?

NEW SHOPS

Garden Variety has just oppened today. It sells flowers (most of them were previously sold on the Suite shop) and pots.. Almost everything is for Superstars only.
Chanel Tribute is a... tribute to Coco Chanel.. Everything is Superstar only. I don't really like the clothes in that shop..
Splash Swimwear is another Superstars-only shop selling... swimsuits! I'm tottaly in love with every single one of them but...
Kohl's. Well that's not a new shop but it's got new clothes! And I love them all!!! I especially love the jumpsuits(♥♥) and the dresses(♥♥♥♥)!

GIFT-O METER

The more Stardollars you spend, the more-and better- gifts you get! I've already gotten the sandals! You??

At the end of May I have my FINAL EXAMS at school... These exams are really important since they are the last exams EVER (I finish school this year!!!) and they can also get me into University!

Looks as if Stardoll was inspired by H&M to create these Lace up Ankle Boots for Greece Day right?!?! I have to say that these shoes are actually my favourite (I wear them all the time!!) so (of course) I immediately bought them at Stardoll too!! The real-life ones cost

I ♥ Greece!!!

Hey everyone!! Since today, 25th March, is a national day and holiday for Greece, Stardoll has release some "I ♥ Greece" items.. And since I am a Greek-Cypriot I feel like I should tell you a couple of things about these items (that Stardoll doesn't say).

The weird brown thing is actually the Parthenon, the most famous monument of Greece. The Parthenon is a temple of the Greek goddess Athena , whom the people of Athens considered their protector. Its construction began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC on the Athenian Acropolis, although decorations of the Parthenon continued until 431 BC. It is the most important surviving building of Classical Greece. On 26th September 1687, after the Ottoman Turk conquest, the explosives that the Turks stored in it exploded and the Parthenon and its sculptures were severely damaged. These sculpture, now known as the Elgin Marbles or the Parthenon Marbles, were stolen in 1816 by the British and are now displayed in the British Museum in London. The Greek government is committed to the return of the sculptures to Greece, so far with now success.

Also, Anna Vissi, the new Superstar Doll, is Greece's most famous singer! She's won many awards and has made hundreds of concerts!! She actually comes from Cyprus (my country!!) and not from Greece as most of you migh have thought...

The red eye tree frog is such a colorful cutie that it has become an iconic ambassador for the campaign to save the rainforests. Its habitat which is shrinking at an alarming rate. Conservationists hope the dazzling red eye tree frog will remind people of the amazing creatures our rainforests hold, and the importance of preserving these wild habitats"

This Peter Pan of salamanders never grows up - it is unique in spending its whole life in its juvenile form without ever changing into an adult. Recent surveys suggest that only between 700 and 1,200 axolotls survive in six reduced and scattered areas within the Xochimilco area of the Mexican Central Valley. Scientists are working to create wild refuges for the axolotl to try and prevent it going extinct in the wild.

Shock in the fashion world by the death of Alexander McQueen...

The famous Brittish Fashion Designer died today, 11th February 2010, at the age of 40. The designer was found dead in his appartment in London, Green Park, and he is believed to have commited suicide.. A statement released by his office, referring to the designer by his given first name, Lee, says: "On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this."

The death of Alexander McQueen will shock the fashion word, as it has happened just a few days before the beginning of London Fashion Week and just a few weeks before the presentation of his new campaign in Paris, on 9th March...

Alexander McQueen's designs were seen many times on Stardoll on many dolls, collection (such as Antidote, Limited Edition) and simple Brands...

Horray!!! NEW Play&Earn Rules!! Read them FIRST HERE!!!

Non-Superstars have a reason to celebrate this day!! New Play&Earn Rules are adopted to Stardoll!! You can read them in the image below but I'll tell you a bit about them too!!

You can earn up to 5 stardollars per day as before..
HERE is the difference! You can a choice: You can either spend your 1st stardollar immediately OR you can save it for later!! That means that our "permanent" Stardollars can be increased again!!
You HAVE TO spend the same day the other 4 stardollars or the will be gone...

There is another notification on Stardoll saying "Earn up to 50 stardollars per month!"... I don't know whether there is a limit on how much Stardollars we can earn... But we'll find that out very soon I hope!!

There is a new theme called In the Net!! The theme actually reminds me of Spiderman:p but there are actually some cute pieces to buy!! I personally adore the Net lamp and Net manequin! When it comes to Starplaza I don't really like the clothes but hey! It's a matter of taste! :) Enjoy Shopping!
